The season has started off with a bang:)!!! A couple of podiums and a sprinters jersey at Merced, followed by a team win by my teammate - Leah - at the NCC opener in Tucson, AZ.
The weather has been wonderful here, almost spring but I'm leaving just in time as another snow storm is headed this way. I've had a great training block at home and looking forward to getting on the road again, heading to San Dimas, CA this week before heading to Europe till the end of April.
Off the bike has been fun as well, dinner with friends and most important, a trip to the fairgrounds for the Agriculture Expo! Tractors, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, horse trainers, chicken on a stick and a whopping basket o fries;) It's fun to do other things besides cycling and bike racing but I love my job:)
Here are just a few pics....
A MASSIVE tractor....wow!
This is the biggest basket of fries EVER!!! Thank God Michael was there to help....
I feel as if this is the ultimate redneck cart, perfect for Talladega.....
